How it Works
1/ We guide what to notice
You don’t start with a blank page.
Instead, we send a small number of thoughtfully tailored prompts—by text or link—over a defined period. These prompts are observational and concrete. They’re designed to help you notice the details that are easy to miss and hard to remember later.
The prompts we send will be tailored to your exact season of life, the number of people in your family, the intended reader, the ages of everyone in the household.
Nothing is daily. Nothing is overwhelming.
Just enough to capture the texture of this season.
2/ You respond in real life
You live in technology, and we will capture your responses wherever you are, in whatever way is easiest for you.
A photo.
A few sentences.
A quick note between tasks.
By text.
By email.
By voice notes that we transcribe.
There’s no app to manage and no pressure to be polished. This is about capturing life as it actually is, not curating a highlight reel.
If you miss a prompt, you miss it. The system keeps moving.
3/ We curate and shape the story
Once the chapter closes, we take over.
Your responses are lightly edited for clarity and flow, while preserving your voice and intent. Photos are curated and sequenced to support the narrative—not overwhelm it.
Nothing is overwritten. Nothing is sentimentalized.
The goal is coherence, not perfection.
4/ We design, print, and close the chapter
Once your chapter is complete, we shape it into a finished book.
Your words and photos are edited and curated, then designed with a strong editorial point of view. Layout, pacing, typography, and white space are treated as part of the storytelling—so the book reads with intention, not density.
Each volume is professionally printed as a high-quality hardcover and delivered to you as a complete artifact.
There’s nothing to revise or maintain.
The chapter is closed.
If you choose to create another book later, it becomes part of a growing collection—each one capturing a distinct season of family life.
About the Book
Built to last
We care deeply about how these books are made.
Paper choice, binding, color reproduction, and finish all affect how a book is experienced—and whether it’s still a pleasure to open years from now. We choose materials that balance beauty with durability, so the book feels substantial in the hand, opens comfortably, and holds up to real use.
